The growth from flames

These photo's were taken in the Boorowa area on the 19th Jan 2013.

The Watershed Stud bushfire was burning between Boorowa and Young from the 18th Jan till the 26th Jan. The fire ranged over 1600 Hectares. This area must have been touched early in the fires. I find it incredible that after just one day, the un-burned grass was green again. I would have thought the fire had come through several days before at least.

After some further research prompted by Claire's comment I have found that these scenes were most likely caused by the Murringo fire of December 2012. These photos were taken on Lachlan Valley Way and the fires crossed this road.

    1. You're right Claire. The Murringo fires did go through the area these photos were taken. I've updated as it should be.
